WATCH: High-Speed Follow Cam Trails Mountain-Bike Legend
Rémy Métailler is a mountain-biking legend, and new high-speed follow-cam footage shows why. Métailler kills a run through Whistler Bike Park in British Columbia, and a talented FPV (first-person view) drone pilot captures the whole thing on camera.
In the follow-cam video posted to YouTube by GoPro, FPV pilot Josh Deisler manages to keep up with Métailler, a French mountain biker, as he takes on “massive jumps,” hits “steep slabs,” and rides “freshly cut flow trails.” In other words, he does some really cool tricks over some technical terrain.
Commenters showed love for the rider, the drone pilot, and the equipment:
“The mix of GoPro’s quality filming and remy’s [sic] clean biking is one sight to see!” said one person.
“Kudos to the drone pilot! Wow!” said another.
